Each August, the Texas Education Agency releases accountability data for public school districts and campuses. The accountability rating system was established during the 2017 legislative session. According to the TEA, ratings are based on measures of student achievement, including State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, or STAAR tests; graduation rates; and college, career and military readiness outcomes.
"A," "B" and "C" ratings are considered passing, while "D" and "F" are failing ratings. Campuses rated "D" or "F" for two or more consecutive years are required to implement state turnaround plans.

Eanes ISD receives 'A' accountability rating from the Texas Education Agency
Eanes ISD received an "A" rating from the Texas Education Agency's A-F accountability rating system in 2025-26, scoring 94 points out of a possible 100 points.
The details
Seven of EISD's campuses received an "A" rating, while one campus, Cedar Creek Elementary, received a "B." Cedar Creek was also the only campus to have a one-letter-grade decline compared to 2024-25.

Nearly 82% of Lake Travis ISD campuses score ‘A’ in TEA accountability ratings
Lake Travis ISD received an "A" for the 2025-26 school year in the Texas Education Agency A-F accountability ratings. The district scored 91 out of 100 possible points.
The big picture
The results released on Aug. 14 signify the district’s second consecutive "A" rating.
LTISD’s ratings include nine "A" campuses and two "B" campuses.
Two campuses received a higher letter rating than the previous year, nine received the same letter rating and no campuses received a lower letter rating than 2024-25. Around 82% of campuses received an "A" rating.

Leander ISD maintains 'B' accountability rating
Leander ISD scored 87 out of 100 possible points in the Texas Education Agency's A-F accountability ratings, maintaining a "B" rating from last year.
