Eanes ISD received an "A" rating from the Texas Education Agency's A-F accountability rating system in 2025-26, scoring 94 points out of a possible 100 points.
The TEA released the 2025-26 ratings for Texas school districts Aug. 14.
Something to note
The accountability rating system was established during the 2017 legislative session. According to the TEA, ratings are based on measures of student achievement including State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness, or STAAR tests; graduation rates; and college, career and military readiness outcomes. "A," "B" and "C" ratings are considered passing, while "D" and "F" are failing ratings.
The details
Seven of EISD's campuses received an "A" rating, while one campus, Cedar Creek Elementary, received a "B." Cedar Creek was also the only campus to have a one-letter-grade decline compared to 2024-25.
Did you know?
EISD has received an "A" rating since the system was implemented; however, ratings were not released for any district in 2020 or 2021 due to COVID-19.
