Bartenders at The Public House make each Pimm’s Cup cocktail to order.[/caption]
The Public House owner Scott Pham puts his own spin on the classic Pimm’s Cup cocktail made with Pimm’s No. 1 liqueur, ginger ale and cucumber. The drink is a summer crowd favorite, especially out on the pub’s front patio, he said.
“[The Pimm’s Cup] is very light and refreshing,” Pham said. “It’s the kind of drink you can sit and have a second if you’re having more than one drink.”
The drink takes a few minutes to make, Pham said, but it is worth the wait as fresh cucumber is muddled with lemon to form the base of this light cocktail. Served over ice with lemon and lime garnish, the lightly carbonated drink melds citrus, ginger and cucumber flavors.
“Our mixologist developed drinks that are made the old-fashioned way, using classic [drink-making] techniques,” Pham said.
