Nine roads in the Tomball and Magnolia areas landed in the Texas A&M Transportation Institute's list of Texas' most congested roadways. An Oct. 22 press release said the institute's full assessment included 1,829 road segments across the state. The nine roads in the Tomball and Magnolia region include portions of FM 1488, Kuykendahl Road, Hwy. 249, Spring Cypress Road and FM 2920. Two Houston roadways—the Loop 610 and I-59/I-69—claim first and second place in this year’s rankings, the press release said. The graphs below show the Tomball and Magnolia road segments' rankings. Lower rankings indicate more traffic congestion.
