Following the heavy rains that flooded the area earlier this year, construction on Fagan Lane in Tomball is underway again as crews work to create a new road between FM 2920 and the Grand Parkway.

The $1.2 million project—which will create a new road running parallel to the Grand Parkway between Cedar Lane and Telge Road—was awarded to Lexton Construction in June.

The project was originally scheduled to take 90 days to complete. However, inclement weather and saturated soil delayed construction work, according to Pamela Rocchi, director of the capital improvement projects division for Harris County Precinct 4. The project is now slated to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2016, barring any further delays due to inclement weather, Rocchi said.
