A partnership among Houston Methodist Primary Group at Willowbrook, TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries and medical students at the Texas A&M University School of Medicine will bring a primary care clinic to TOMAGWA on Saturdays for those underserved in the community, according to a news release.

The next clinic will take place Jan. 21 from 8 a.m.-noon at TOMAGWA's Tomball location with a consistent schedule still to be determined, according to the release. Appointments will be required, and the clinic can serve TOMAGWA patients or patients with traditional Medicare or Medicaid.

“There are more than 142,000 uninsured people in our region, and TOMAGWA remains the single charitable provider,” TOMAGWA CEO Timika Simmons said in the news release. “It made sense to collaborate with our two strongest care delivery partners to expand primary care services in a region that has a uniquely great need, while exposing future health care professionals to community-based care.”

TOMAGWA's Tomball clinic is located at 455 School St., Ste. 30, Tomball. www.tomagwa.org
