Aug. 4-5: Watch a play

Black Cat Theater and Academy is hosting the play “The 39 Steps,” which is described as a mix of a Hitchcock masterpiece and a spy novel with a dash of Monty Python. The play is recommended for ages 12 and older due to several loud gunshots, flashing lights and mild adult themes.

Aug. 4-5: Drop off stuffed animals for a sleepover

Chick-fil-A Magnolia is hosting a stuffed animal sleepover, at which children can drop off their plush pets and come back the next morning to learn about what they did. Each child will receive an ID badge that matches their stuffed animal.

Aug. 5: Donate school supplies

At the Bluebonnet Tasting Room’s school supply drive, attendees can donate school supplies and participate in “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?” trivia. People who donate school supplies will receive 50% off their first glass of wine or flight, and teachers will receive a 15% gift shop discount.

Aug. 5: Test your 'Harry Potter' knowledge

Attendees will be able to test their "Harry Potter" knowledge during The Weird Sister Boutique and Social Room’s themed trivia night. There will be snacks available, and attendees are invited to bring food. There will be prizes.

Aug. 5: Stroll a market



Loblolly Market will return for its monthly market featuring local artisans, food and drinks, and crafters. The first 25 guests will also receive a free swag bag.
