Early voting for the upcoming election began Oct. 23. Here is what you should know before going to vote in Tomball or Magnolia.

The gist

Early voting began Oct. 23 and will run through Nov. 3, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s Office.

If you live in Harris County, you can vote early:

  • Oct. 23-28, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Oct. 29, noon-7 p.m.
  • Oct. 30-Nov. 3, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

If you live in Montgomery County, you can vote early:

  • Oct. 23-28, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Oct. 30-Nov. 3, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

During early voting, any Montgomery or Harris County residents can vote at any polling location, according to the counties’ respective election websites.

On Election Day on Nov. 7:

  • Harris County registered voters can continue to vote at any polling location.
  • Montgomery County registered voters must vote in their designated polling precinct, which can be found by putting their information into the voter registration lookup tool.

There are several early-voting locations across Tomball and Magnolia. See where they are below.

  • Tomball Public Works Building, Training Room, 501B James St., Tomball
  • Lone Star College Creekside, Room 116, 8747 W. New Harmony Trail, Tomball

Magnolia:

  • Magnolia Event Center, LGI 1, 11659 FM 1488, Magnolia
  • West Montgomery County Community Development Center, green room, 31355 Friendship Drive, Magnolia
