As summer wraps up, here are some ways for students to be prepared for the first day of school in Tomball and Magnolia ISDs.

Tomball ISD

Dates to know


The first day of school for Tomball ISD is Tuesday, Aug. 22. Classes will not be held on Monday, Sep. 4 for Labor Day.

Find a bus route


Parents or students can search by grade level and address to find a bus route. Tomball ISD asks that students arrive to the bus stop at least 7 minutes before the bus’ scheduled arrival. Safety, behavior and other bus rider rules can be found here.

Breakfast:
Elementary/Intermediate $1.25
Junior High $1.50
High School $1.75
Adult/Visitor $2.35


Lunch:
Elementary/Intermediate $2.35

Magnolia ISD

Dates to know


Magnolia ISD resumes classes on Monday, Aug. 28.

A school board meeting and public tax rate hearing will be held Monday, Aug. 21 during which time the board of trustees is expected to approve the budget for fiscal year 2017-18.

Classes will not be held on Monday, Sep. 4 for Labor Day.

Find a bus route


Students and parents can locate bus routes by entering their login here. Magnolia ISD asks that students observe the same behavior that they exhibit in the classroom while on the bus. Water is allowed, but no other food or drinks.

Meal prices


Breakfast is $1.25 at all schools in the district. Lunch is $2.45 at elementary schools and $2.70 at middle and high schools.
