Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
The multi-week event features food, concerts, rodeo events and children's activities. This weekend's headlining performers include Luke Bryan (Thursday), Fifth Harmony (Friday), Willie Nelson (Saturday), Banda El Recodo (Sunday) and Siggno (Sunday). Volunteer work day
Buffalo Bayou Partnership hosts a community-wide volunteer work day at Buffalo Bayou Park. Volunteers—groups and individuals—will help with tasks, such as trash pick-up, mulching and weed removal, to clean up the park. The BBP provides all necessary tools, but volunteers should bring work gloves. To participate, volunteers must complete an online volunteer waiver. 8:30-11:30 a.m. Free.
