Best Friends Animal Society will bring its Adoptable Pets on Tour event series to the Greater Houston area from April 30-May 17 as a way to encourage pet adoption.

What's happening?

The Best Friends mobile adoption vehicle will roll into seven communities as a way to help shelter and rescue partners throughout the Greater Houston area showcase their adoptable cats and dogs, according to an April 22 news release.

Adoptable pets onboard will have been spayed or neutered, have age-appropriate vaccines and will be microchipped. There will be no fee to adopt and adopters will get some goodies as well.
