Jan. 16: Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The Martin Luther King Jr. Foundation will be hosting its 34th annual celebration at The Woodlands Methodist Church. The event will have guest speaker Martha Hays, live music and a scholarship presentation for 10 students who will receive $1,000 each. The foundation will also hand out the Drum Major Award to someone who has given back significantly to the community in the last year. Noon. Free.
