The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion announced its 2024 Performing Arts Series, which includes performances by the Houston Symphony and The Woodlands Symphony as well as a number of family-oriented events, will be offered free of charge.

"To ensure that the arts are accessible to all, The Pavilion is proudly announcing that seating at Performing Arts events will now be completely free," Pavilion officials announced in a May 9 news release. "The venue is excited to unveil this new opportunity and looks forward to welcoming even more guests for some incredible arts experiences this season."

Events announced for the series this year are:
  • June 18: "Bugs Bunny at The Symphony," featuring the Houston Symphony
  • June 26: "The Music of Pink Floyd," featuring the Houston Symphony
  • July 3: "Star-Spangled Salute," featuring the Houston Symphony
  • July 26: "Batman (1989) in Concert," featuring the Houston Symphony
  • Sept. 18: "Once Upon a Symphony", featuring The Woodlands Symphony
  • Oct. 17: "Hocus Focus Pops," featuring the Houston Symphony
  • Oct. 22: The U.S. Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus
  • Dec. 5: "Holly Jolly Jingle," with Conroe ISD student musicians
