Brisket U at Talyard Brewing

Backyard Pitmasters will bring its famed barbecue class to Talyard Brewing, teaching attendees how to smoke brisket. The class will learn about barbecue pits; trimming techniques; rubs and prep; wood selection and smoke profiles; how to start and manage a fire; and the proper way to slice the end product.Sweet Beats International Festival

This live music event at Crown Festival Park will have headline acts such as That Mexican OT, New Breed Brass Band and Grupo Secretto. The event will also feature cultural experiences and international food and art.Fit Foodie Family 5K

This race, which includes a family 5K run and kids 1K run, will take place at Sugar Land Town Square. The post-race party will feature live entertainment, massages, family-friendly activities, food and products from local vendors.Memorial Day Ceremony


Sugar Land leaders will pay tribute to fallen soldiers in this ceremony at Sugar Land Memorial Park, including the Sugar Land Police Department honor guard. The event will feature live music from the Lone Star Symphonic Band, a military flyover, speeches, military-related vendor booths, food trucks and a free shuttle services from Brazos River Park.

Space Cowboys Baseball Camp

Kids ages 6-12 can participate in a weekend of baseball drills, skills competitions and instruction from local coaches and trainers at Constellation Field. Campers will receive a T-shirt and a ticket to a Sugar Land Space Cowboys game on July 2.
