Copan Coffee Roasters opening mobile coffee trailer in Tomball

Copan Coffee Roasters is a long-standing Tomball business known for its international partnerships for roasted coffee. The business recently announced its plans to open a mobile coffee trailer this October, serving the Tomball area. 

Respecting the craft 

As previously reported, Copan Coffee Roasters opened in Tomball in 2002 and focuses on roasting imported green coffee beans and exporting the roasted beans to numerous international partners. These partners are located in countries such as Honduras, Ethiopia, Kenya and Colombia.

The new mobile trailer will be known as the Copan Coffee Lab. Paola Marino, the Marketing Director at Copan Coffee Roasters, said that the concept is "scientist meets barista."

The trailer will serve a wide variety of drinks such as matcha, tea, lattes and even imported coffee like SL28 from Kenya. Copan also announced a partnership with Houston-area bakery Honey & Salt, which will be providing halal and seed-oil-free baked goods. 

Proceeds from the trailer will be donated to a charitable cause; 5% of sales will be given to global nonprofit Re:wild to support wildlife conservation.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. at 716 S. Persimmon St., Tomball. The public grand opening will be the following day, Oct. 10.
