There are several Fall Festival events to get into this month across the Greater Houston area. Events are subject to change and this list is not comprehensive.
St. Angela Merici Fall Festival
Hosted by St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, the event will include games, food, a silent auction and a raffle, plus other fall activities.
Montgomery Fall Festival
Montgomery County is hosting its annual fall festival with activities from a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, a kids zone, vendor market, food and more. Featured musical artists including Randall King, Ashley Walls and Jody Booth can be found on the event website.
Pumpkin House & Pumpkin Palooza
Families can enjoy a pumpkin house while picking their favorite fall pumpkins. Crafts and face painting will also be available for all kids.
Katy Rice Harvest Festival
The festival will include live performances from artists like Lonestar and Neal McCoy, along with food trucks, vendors and a beer garden. All net proceeds will go toward local nonprofits, scholarships and charities.
Pumpkin Float
The Woodlands Township is hosting a pumpkin float for fun activities at Lakeside pool. Children ages 5-12 will find pumpkins in a patch or in the water to decorate. Different stations will offer a variety of games.

Halloween Bash
The first Halloween Bash will be hosted in The Woodlands for spooky activities with the family. Carnival games, crafts and food will be provided on site at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park. Participants can also show off their moves in their best Halloween costume.

Tricks & Treats
Missouri City is hosting its Tricks & Treats in the park event with candy, games, a pumpkin patch, costumes and more at Buffalo Run Park.
ArBOOretum
Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is hosting Houston's Fall Festival, ArBOOretum this month. Families will get to participate in activities for all ages while children will have the opportunity to explore the Trick-or-Treat-Nature Trail where they'll learn about the creatures that live at the Arboretum while collecting candy.

Fall Frolic
Jersey Village Parks and Recreation is hosting its annual Halloween celebration with fun, spooky and safe festivities. The event includes a trunk-or-treat, a live DJ, games, a costume contest, food trucks and a haunted house with three scare levels.
Trick-or-Treat at Rice Village
Children and their families will trick-or-treat around Rice Village and snap photos while enjoying Halloween decor and listening to spooky music.
Fulshear Scarecrow Festival
The Fulshear Regional Chamber of Commerce’s event features a costume contest, scarecrow contest and a pumpkin patch at Fulshear High School.
Cy-Fair ISD Police Department Trunk or Treat
With candy and costumes, the Cy-Fair ISD Police Department is hosting a night of Halloween-themed fun.
Traders Halloween Village: Big Halloween Blowout
Traders Village, open on weekends, is getting spooky with its month-long decorations, Haunted Swamp and other spooky surprises. Its Big Halloween Blowout is planned for Halloween weekend with costumes, Trick-or-Treating and live music on the first day, and a Selena look-alike contest and performances by Gabriella Martinez and Grupo Metal ft. Chris Perez for the second day.
2026 Fall Fest-Community Family Fair
The Southwest Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Fall Fest-Community Family Fair at the Magnolia Event Center. The event will include trick-or-treating, costume contests, crafts and more for families to enjoy.
