From walks to galas, there are several events held in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. All events are subject to change, and the list is not comprehensive.
“Light it up Pink”
Held in partnership with Market Street and Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center at The Woodlands, this event coincides with the Fall Concert Series at Market Street and a performance from Hybrid 7. The event will include photo opportunities honoring those who have been touched by breast cancer. Attendees can also receive a pink tote bag and a light-up baton to help commemorate this special evening.
Pour for Pink
Sonoma Wine & Cheese will host a walk-around wine and cheese tasting as well as a mini market featuring local women-owned businesses. A portion of proceeds will be donated to breast cancer awareness.
In the Pink of Health Luncheon
Memorial Hermann’s In the Pink of Health annual luncheon raises money for breast and ovarian cancer prevention, education and community outreach and to support cancer survivors through the Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center.

Annual Breast Cancer Walkathon
Held at Elizabeth Kaiser Meyer Park, the annual Breast Cancer Walkathon supports the Thompson Isadore-Mena Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit supporting women in need.
Bling, Boots & Bubbles
Join Consultants in Dental Aesthetics for an evening featuring a fundraiser in support of breast cancer awareness. Attendees can glam up with Western attire and a splash of pink.
Breast Cancer Awareness and Education
HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is holding a Breast Cancer Awareness and Education event to honor breast cancer survivors and those lost to the deadly disease. The event will feature a panel of experienced breast cancer specialists to discuss the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, diagnostics and treatment options.
Fall for a Cause
TCOB is holding a Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser featuring food trucks, a photo booth and vendors with unique items.
Pink Ribbon Walk
Attendees can join KBL Walk Club for a morning walk for a cause supporting Breast Cancer Awareness.
