Fish City Grill, located within Sugar Land’s Town Square at 15980 City Walk, will be closing its doors for 12 days in July for a “transformative facelift,” according to a news release.

“From the time diners approach the restaurant, they’ll notice the amazing changes. The front facade will be completely redesigned with a clean contemporary patio, too,” co-founder Bill Bayne said.

The timeline

The restaurant, which originally opened in 2006, will undergo a facelift and aesthetic revitalization, shutting down from July 9 until the anticipated reopening date July 21. However, the menu and drink selections will remain the same for customers after the restaurant reopens. A variety of oysters, crab and other seafood favorites will still be readily available alongside Fish City’s popular cocktail and wine happy hour promotions.

In their own words

“The light, bright aesthetic continues throughout the restaurant, with new paint, flooring and beautiful new upholstery throughout. Our new environment really transports our customers to a coastal spot,” Bayne said.
