Dave & Buster's restaurant and entertainment business could be coming to Sugar Land.

The details

According to a project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction will begin in June to convert an existing building into the Dallas-based arcade, restaurant and sports bar. Construction is set to end in December.

According to the filing, the new Dave & Buster's could come to the River Park Shopping Center, located on Southwest Freeway near Brazos River Park. Representatives for Phillips Edison & Company, the retail developer that manages the shopping center, did not respond by press time to confirm the incoming business.

Dave & Buster's representatives also could not comment on a plan to open a Sugar Land location, but according to the TDLR filing, the project will cost $5.5 million, and the space will span 30,361 square feet.
