Code Ninjas, a children’s educational coding franchise, opened its newest Missouri City location at 9029 Hwy. 6 on July 10.

The details

Founded in 2016, Code Ninjas is the world's largest and fastest-growing kids coding franchise, according to the website. The centers offer a unique learning experience where children learn to code while building their own video games as well as developing problem-solving; critical thinking; and science, technology, engineering and math skills in a safe, monitored environment.

The center will provide children ages 7-14 with an opportunity to learn coding, problem-solving skills and STEM skills while building video games, robotics and drones.

The location’s game-based, self-paced curriculum, organized into nine belts like martial arts, promotes a fun and engaging learning experience for children new to technology. Students receive guidance from instructors called “Code Senseis” as well as support from peers as they progress through the levels of the program.
