A mocktail Tiki bar, Elixir Lounge, is coming soon to Old Town Spring with a tentative opening date set for early September. The bar and lounge will serve booze-free drinks such as iced cream teas; hot teas; and holistic kava teas, which are brewed from the Polynesian plant of the same name and are traditionally served in coastal bars, according to Elixir Lounge manager Cassandra Kara Schultz.

“We are the first and only kava bar/sober tiki lounge in the Houston area," Schultz said via Facebook messenger. “We are trying to bring more night life, tourism and youth culture to Old Town Spring.”
