The meetings will be held from Sept. 27-Oct. 20 at various campuses throughout the district. Each meeting will begin with a presentation on the bond package by SISD leaders followed by a Q&A session.
The $850 million bond will appear on voter ballots as three propositions: Proposition A would allocate $681 million to fund campus improvements; Proposition B would allocate $141 million to build a new education and performing arts center; and Proposition C would allocate $28 million to fund technology upgrades districtwide.
The informational meetings will begin at 6 p.m. on the following dates and at these locations:
- Sept. 27: Twin Creeks Middle School, 27100 Old Cypresswood Drive, Spring
- Sept. 28: Springwoods Village Middle School, 1120 Crossgate Blvd., Spring
- Oct. 3: Bailey Middle School, 3377 James C. Leo Drive, Spring
- Oct. 5: School for International Studies at Bammel, 16711 Ella Blvd., Houston
- Oct. 10: Dueitt Middle School, 1 Eagle Crossing, Spring
- Oct. 13: Claughton Middle School, 3000 Spears Road, Houston
- Oct. 17: Wells Middle School, 4033 Gladeridge Drive, Houston
- Oct. 20: Roberson Middle School, 12430 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston
