Two hotels located in City Place in north Houston recently debuted renovations—including lobby refurbishments and revamped decor—according to a Sept. 10 news release from City Place.

What’s new

Courtyard Houston and Residence Inn Houston locations each underwent makeovers in the 2,000-acre business and residential community of City Place, which is located in northwest Houston.

According to the release, Courtyard Houston-City Place has 125 rooms. The hotel’s remodel includes:

• New plush seating for the guest rooms and public areas
• Revamped decor throughout the building

According to the release, Residence Inn Houston-City Place has 128 rooms. The hotel’s renovation includes:

• Updates for the lobby and public spaces, including new seating and lighting
• Refreshed guest room furnishings
• New decor throughout the building

Looking back

Residence Inn Houston-City Place first opened in 2015, while Courtyard Houston-City Place opened one year later in 2016, according to the release. Both hotels offer meeting spaces, fitness centers and outdoor pools for guests to use.

Residence Inn also features full kitchens in its suites and a sport court. Courtyard boasts a lobby bistro and event spaces.
