The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation's largest Renaissance-themed event at 70 acres, according to an Oct. 6 news release. The festival grounds offer 21 stages, more than 400 artisanal shops and over 200 acres of camping facilities.
In 2026, the festival will bring back fan-favorite attractions and entertainment, alongside new acts such as:
Paladin, the Errant Fool: a wandering jester who can be found throughout the festival juggling and performing magic
Sons of Olympus: a live-action performance on the Agora Stage where two brothers bring the gods and goddesses to life through aerial performance, acrobatics and fire
Lester Jesterson: a jester who combines wit, charm and creativity for an all-ages performance
The festival will welcome back several vendors selling costumes, jewelry, handcrafted gifts, swords, journals, candles and more. Visitors can also expect a variety of international foods, including the iconic turkey leg, bacon-on-a-stick, empanadas, sweets and popcorn, as well as beer, wine, mead and cocktails.
