A new Mexican restaurant and a new tea and smoothie shop opened on Louetta Road in Spring and Klein in February, and several dining chains are set to open soon, offering breakfast and burgers.

Moo Moo Sweet House Ice and Drinks opened Feb. 20 at 7306 Louetta Road, Ste. A120, Spring. The shop offers tapioca tea with assorted toppings, smoothies, tea lattes, slush drinks, flavored tea, yogurt drinks, shaved ice, regular tea and mousse cake in a cup. Austin-based HopDoddy Burger Bar will open in 2017 in Vintage Park. An opening date and address have not yet been released by the company. The restaurant offers a wide selection of burgers, local craft beer, hand-cut fries and shakes. The location will be the third in Houston for Hopdoddy. a Rice Village area location is also scheduled to open on March 6.
