Mid-October is peak season for fall festivals, and there are four in the Spring and Klein areas this weekend, including Old Town Spring's annual Pet Fest. Live music and a musical theater production round out the calendar of events this weekend.
Oct. 14-16
"Little Shop of Horrors"
Presented by Stageworks Theatre, this production tells the story of the meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn, who stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” after his coworker crush. Oct. 15 Fun Faire The annual Klein United Methodist Church fall festival, hosted by the Boy Scouts of Troop 878, includes family-friendly fun activities for all ages. Fall festival

Honoring Adrian Steffes and benefiting the South-Central Liver Transplant Fund, the event includes a barbecue plate sale, craft and vendor market, live music from Drive Train, raffles and other activities. Presented by the Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment, the four-time live-performance Grammy nominated band Trout Fishing in America was created from a musical partnership between Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. Pet Fest
The event and Pet Fest nonprofit organization raises awareness and money to support various animal rescue groups and related organizations. Pearlformance
