The Brazoria County Library System is hosting a series of public meetings to discuss the needs of the community, according to a news release from the library system.

The gist

The meetings will not be focused on the library’s resources or services but instead look to “create conversations about our communities themselves,” according to the release. The hope is the feedback will help the library system create a five-year action plan.

There will be four meetings spanning from late January to late February, according to the release.
  • Jan. 27 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Pearland Tom Reid Library, 3522 Liberty Drive, Pearland
  • Jan 29 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Alvin Library, 105 S. Gordon St., Alvin
  • Feb. 3 from 10-11:30 a.m. at West Pearland Library, 11801 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland
  • Feb. 24 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Manvel Library, 20514 B. Hwy. 6, Manvel
