- Position 6
- Position 7
All positions for AISD and PISD are three-year terms, according to both district’s websites.
What residents need to know
For AISD, more information on the election and applications for a place on the ballot can be found on the district’s website.
Candidate packets will be available to pick up at the AISD Administration Building at 301 House St., Alvin, on Jan. 6, according to the district’s website.

AISD’s May 2024 election entailed a victory for three incumbents, including Albert “AJ” Johnson, Cory Scott and Gabriel “Gabe” Garza, as well as new trustee Danielle Swiney, Community Impact previously reported.
For PISD, Francis was recently elected to the district’s school board in the May election for an unexpired term, which ends in 2025.
FISD had a board race in November, which saw all four incumbents win, and will not have any candidates on the ballot in May.
One last thing
The last day to register to vote is April 3. Early voting will be from April 22-29, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.
