A hiring center has been set up at Westland Center at 1315 Grand Parkway, Ste. 114, in Katy to recruit 95 employees for the new Walmart Neighborhood Market under construction in Cinco Ranch.

The store will be around 38,000 square feet and contain a full selection of groceries, a deli, bakery, produce department and a drive-through pharmacy. The new store is expected to open in the spring on the northeast corner of Falcon Landing Boulevard and Westheimer Parkway.

The hiring center will be accepting applications from 8 am. to 5 p.m. weekdays, said store manager Tara Lovelady.

"Hiring the right team is essential to our store's future success," she said.
