The roadway will be expanded to four lanes between the northern entrance of the Walmart Supercenter and where the road bends west toward Hwy. 59. The expanded road will accommodate traffic from Townsen Boulevard Middle School. The school will open in August, but the road will be accessible to Aldine ISD in July, said Barry Brocks, director of public works for the city of Humble. The project is a collaboration between AISD and Humble.
