Residences at Kingwood East, a new multifamily housing development, is ready for move-ins this month, officials with developer High Street Residential announced via a March 17 news release.

The overview

The new housing complex comprises 109 rental townhomes and 72 apartments with one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, according to the release. The apartments average 1,046 square feet, while the townhomes average 1,530 square feet.

Residences at Kingwood East is the second phase to follow Residences at Kingwood, which opened at 6519 Kings Glen Drive, Humble in early 2024 with 240 apartments and 49 townhomes.

Both phases of the development have access to a slate of amenities, including:
  • A clubhouse with a fitness center, yoga room, lounge, work-from-home suites and an entertaining kitchen
  • Two resort-style pools
  • An outdoor biergarten and social space
  • An outdoor dining area with grills
  • A recreational area that includes a bocce ball court, pickleball court and putting green
  • An indoor dog spa and outdoor dog recreation park
  • A private walking trail
  • Connections to Kingwood's greenbelt trail system

Some context

The project is a joint venture between High Street Residential—the residential subsidiary of Trammel Crow Company—and Daiwa House Group. The two-phase development was designed by W Partnership; Arch-Con Corporation served as the general contractor for Residences at Kingwood East.
