Autumn Springs Home Care Communities officials held an Oct. 24 ribbon-cutting ceremony in celebration of the opening of the assisted living facility's new Atascocita location. Officials said the facility helps bridge the gap between independent living and nursing home care by providing assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing and medication management. The facility also offers memory care services for residents with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
