The 24,500-square-foot Shops on Katy Gaston commercial development is located at the northwest corner of Katy-Gaston Road and Westpark Tollway at 6940 Katy Gaston Road, Katy.

The shopping center has planned two phases of construction. The first phase, titled Katy Gaston I in leasing documents from Hunington Properties Inc., features an 8,500-square-foot building with spaces for four businesses.

Those already signed include Premier Dental Studio, which opened in June 2021; Katy Gaston Urgent Care, which opened in February; and Hungry Howies, which is set to open Dec. 15. There is still an 1,800-square-foot space available for a potential business to occupy.

Phase 2 of the Shops at Katy Gaston is a 16,000-square-foot building with space for a drive-thru. Per leasing documents, 131 residential lots are under construction at Haven at Seven Lakes north of the development to be built by Trendmaker Homes.
