Participating restaurants will serve specially priced, multicourse prix fixe menus that include brunch, lunch and dinner. Three dollars from every $20 brunch or lunch will generate nine meals at the food bank, while $5 and $7 from every $35 and $45 dinner will generate 15 and 21 meals, respectively.
Houston Restaurant Weeks began announcing this year’s participating restaurants July 15 and will continue adding to the list until Aug. 1. The annual event is the largest fundraiser of its kind in the U.S.
“Houston Restaurant Weeks gives people in Houston an opportunity to experience Houston’s exceptional restaurants while providing much-needed relief for families suffering from hunger,” Houston Food Bank CEO Brian Greene said. “We are grateful to once again be the beneficiary of this incredible event.”
