From car shows to concerts, bubble parties and an ice cream social, here are seven events to attend in Katy and Fulshear in late May and throughout June. This list is not comprehensive.

Kevin Fowler at Home Run Dugout

American singer and songwriter Kevin Fowler will perform at baseball venue Home Run Dugout for a special concert. Proceeds for the show benefit the Green Beret Foundation. Parking is available for $20 per vehicle.

Memorial Day Monday Car Show

The Social Pub and Grill will host a car and truck show, where participants can win a prize for best of show. Veterans' tickets are discounted in honor of Memorial Day.Tray and Charcuterie Workshop

The Rustic Brush will host this charcuterie tray arranging event, with guidance from Elegant Eats. Attendees can take the trays home afterwards. The venue offers a variety of instructor-led workshops.Silent Library Games


Maud Smith Marks Branch Library hosts this fun night of activities, based on the MTV show “Silent Library,” which is modeled after a Japanese game show. Teams of teens will compete against each other in a host of silly contests to win a prize.No Label Brewing 1st Street 5K Beer Run

Starting at Katy brewery No Label Brewing Co., runners can travel from the iconic rice dryers, through old Katy,and return to the brewery to collect a souvenir race pint glass and four 8-ounce tastings from No Label's taps. Participation also includes a T-shirt with entry. Walkers and strollers are welcome and food trucks will be on-site.Frosty Fiesta

The city of Katy will host an ice cream social in the Historic Town Square to celebrate summertime.Texas Best Music Fest

In its 11th year, this music festival highlights all Texas talent. Featured acts performing at Mo’s Place this year will include Sundance Head and Bill and Kim Nash. Proceeds will benefit Champions Kids Camp, which provides a free summer camp experience to children who have survived a traumatic injury, illness or personal loss.
