Two Tarts' Toppers, a hat brand that blends costuming and every day headwear, held a grand opening celebration for its storefront in Katy's LaCenterra shopping center on Dec. 19.

The shop was founded in 2015 with goals to make decorative hats for events, such as the Renaissance Festival, more affordable, according to the business' website. Hats are adorned with unique materials, including porcupine quills, rhinestones, feathers, bandanas and watches.

Two Tarts' Toppers will have a sale for 20% off its merchandise through Dec. 31 and is set to open a hat bar in early 2024.
