California-based athleisure brand Vuori is preparing to open a new location at Heights Mercantile.

Construction on the new retail store is expected to be completed in early June, according to project registration information from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The retail space is estimated to be more than 3,000 square feet.

The store will offer high-end, active-based apparel for men and women inspired by the Coastal California lifestyle integrating fitness, surf, sport and art, according to the brand’s website.

Vuori representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Zooming out

While the first Houston brick-and-mortar location opened in Rice Village in the fall of 2022 and the second location opened at Houston Premium Outlets in the fall of 2023, as previously reported by Community Impact, the Heights Mercantile location will be the third Houston location estimated to open in 2025. Vuori is slated to open at the Houston Galleria mall in August.
