Officials with Memorial Hermann announced it is building a new Urgent Care clinic at the intersection of FM 1463 and Fulshear Bend Drive in Fulshear.

Glenn Willey, communications specialist with Memorial Hermann, said the 2,847-square-foot facility is set to open in early 2017 and will be located at 5102 FM 1463. The facility will be staffed with several board-certified family medicine physicians and medical assistants.

Willey said the hospital system has a goal of providing access to health care that is easily accessible.

“That area is booming with the new H-E-B, a new school and new houses,” Willey said. “There’s just a huge need for bringing care to people living there.”

The clinic will be open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. seven days a week. Patients who are existing members of the Memorial Hermann Medical Group will have their records saved into the system’s electronic database.
