Cy-Hope, a nonprofit based in Cy-Fair ISD that supports underserved students, held a grand opening event at its new Waller campus on May 29, officials announced in a news release.

Services at this new location include:
  • Backpack feeding program: To help address food insecurity in Waller ISD, Cy-Hope will send eligible students home with backpacks full of food each weekend in partnership with the Houston Food Bank.
  • Counseling center: Mental health services with flexible pricing will be available for individuals and families in Waller.
  • After-school Hope Center: Students can spend time in a safe environment, receive support from mentors and have positive social interaction outside of school.
