CFISD postpones classes until September 5
Until flooding and tornadoes caused by Hurricane Harvey subside, several Greater Houston area school districts are closed until as late as September 5, including Cy-Fair ISD, Spring ISD and Klein ISD. For a full list of closings, click here.

Check which roads in Cy-Fair have been flooded since the hurricane began
Jones Road, Skinner Road and Fry Road have been flooded as a result of the storm, as well as several other local roads. While it is recommended to stay inside while the storm continues, if travel is a necessity, check the flooded roads here and check the Precinct 4 Twitter account for live updates.
Prepare for Harvey to return as tropical storm Wednesday, Aug. 30
Meteorologists suggest Tropical Storm Harvey could possibly circle back around on Wednesday as a weaker tropical storm. Prepare for the storm by seeking shelter and stocking up on water and food if needed. Read more here.
