“We started from the ground and worked ourselves up into the industry,” Georgina Adame said. “I started working as a hostess knowing two single phrases, ‘How many?’ and ‘Follow me."
A family affair
Mario Adame started working in the restaurant industry in 1990 and worked his way up from a busboy to a restaurant manager at Harbor Inn, located in Georgia.
While building their lives in Georgia, as a server with a language barrier, she practically raised her son Junior Adame in the restaurant, Georgina Adame said.
At the time, the restaurant's success led to the opening of a total of eight Harbor Inn locations in North Carolina and Georgia with Mario Adame as the manager for several of the locations, Junior Adame said.
Years later, the Adame family decided to venture out on their own and moved to the Cy-Fair area to open their own restaurant.

On the menu
With years of experience cooking and serving seafood, the Adame family specializes in fried seafood with a handcrafted batter made from scratch, hushpuppies and gumbo. The restaurant's recipes are crafted by the owner's sister and restaurant chef Angela Adame.
