Fresenius Kidney Care to open new dialysis center in Humble through partnership

Fresenius Kidney Care will celebrate the opening of its new dialysis clinic in Humble with a community open house from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 8, per a Sept. 29 media advisory.

The setup

Per the advisory, the new center builds on an existing partnership between Fresenius Medical Care and Focus Kidney Care to increase access to "high-quality, life-sustaining dialysis care" in Humble and the north Houston area.

"We're pleased to continue to partner with Focus Kidney Care to deliver high-quality dialysis care in a welcoming and innovative setting," said Fielmarie "Abbie" Cliff, director of operations for Fresenius Kidney Care, in a statement. "Our compassionate and skilled team is ready to serve the northeast Houston area."

What they offer

Per the advisory, the new site will offer:

• Home hemodialysis

• Home peritoneal dialysis

• In-center hemodialysis

During the open house, community members can learn more about kidney disease and dialysis options. The event will also include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Partnership Lake Houston, according to information on the chamber of commerce's website.
