The Texas Mesquite Grill original strawberry margarita is a sweet spin on the local restaurant and bar’s house margarita. Served frozen or on the rocks, the margarita is made with 100 percent agave tequila, orange liqueur and fresh lime juice. The $6.95 drink can also be flavored with peach, mango or raspberry.

Texas Mesquite Grill’s Cypress bar serves a variety of original cocktails and spins on classics, like the American Mule.

Christina Welch, Texas Mesquite Grill’s bartender, said the margaritas are higher quality than customers expect from house margaritas.

“They’re made with love,” she said. “Even if you get the house margarita, it’s still great quality, great taste and a great price. Usually when you get a house drink, you’re sacrificing flavor, you’re sacrificing taste. You don’t get that here. I always recommend the house margarita.”
