The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed across the 10 ZIP codes within Cy-Fair ISD boundaries exceeded 50,000 on Feb. 23.
This total includes 46,803 recoveries, 263 deaths and 3,128 active cases as of Feb. 24, according to Harris County Public Health.
Active cases have been on the decline since the start of February, but county health officials said the most recent drop in cases may be attributed to Winter Storm Uri, which shut down testing facilities for several days and delayed data reporting.
Twenty-nine Cy-Fair residents have died due to the virus so far this month.
