Officials with the city of Jersey Village have launched a public survey to collect feedback from the community regarding a potential multipurpose stadium in the 43-acre Town Center development near the intersection of Jones Road and Hwy. 290.

The survey is one aspect of an ongoing feasibility study, which is estimated to cost $71,500, according to the city’s website. Officials said if the stadium moves forward, it would be home to an independent league baseball team and would host concerts, festivals and other events throughout the year.

Retail, restaurants, office, residential and medical facilities are other elements that have been proposed for the site formerly known as Village Center. The city signed a letter of intent with KHJR real estate advisory firm earlier this year after the city ended its partnership with the project’s former developer, Collaborate.

The city is working with KHJR to finalize plans for the development, but a construction timeline has not yet been announced.

Community members can submit their feedback in the survey here by June 13. Learn more about the Town Center project here.
