A La Michoacana Supermarket location in north Houston will undergo renovations, according to an Oct. 24 filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The 12,320-square-foot space is slated to debut upgrades to its meat market and food preparation working area in June.

La Michoacana was founded by Mexican immigrants and is headquartered in Houston, according to its website. The business offers a variety of groceries such as meats, cheeses, baked goods, authentic Mexican candy and produce.
