RapidCare Emergency Room opened April 24 at 18057 Hwy. 105, Ste. 220, Montgomery. The free-standing emergency room is open 24/7 and offers emergency medical care and treatment for lake and boating accidents and injuries, broken bones, headache and head traumas, COVID-19/flu, and RSV, according to a May 10 news release. The emergency room also includes a full-service laboratory and offers CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound and EKG services. Treatment is available for adult and pediatric patients.

“Our team is committed to providing exceptional emergency care to our patients,” said Dr. Kingsley Ilochonwu, medical director of the new facility, in the release. "We have assembled a highly skilled team of physicians, nurses and other medical professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients.”

RapidCare Emergency Room also operates 24/7 emergency rooms in La Porte, Katy and Missouri City/Sugar Land.
