Over the last five years, the education level and median household income within the school districts in Conroe, Montgomery and Willis has increased, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates released Dec. 7.

The percentage of the population over age 25 with high school diplomas increased between 2017-22 within the boundaries of Conroe, Montgomery and Willis ISDs, according to the American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates.

  • MISD: from 94.2% to 95%
  • WISD: from 86.8% to 87.1%

Additionally, the percentage of people over age 25 with bachelor’s degrees also saw increases between 2017-22, according to the American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates.

  • MISD: from 35.6% to 41.4%
  • WISD: from 22.8% to 25%

Between 2017-22, the median household income also increased in the Conroe and Montgomery area, according to the American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates.
