RockRose Ranch at Lake Conroe broke ground Nov. 3 on its amenity complex in the 170-acre community, which will include walking trails, a family-friendly pool, dog park, playground and picnic pavilion for all ages, according to a Nov. 9 news release. The new manufactured home community opened in March off I-45 and Calvary Road, Community Impact reported.

What's happening?

RockRose Ranch at Lake Conroe features a gated active adult community for residents age 55 and older as well as a section of homes open to residents of all ages.

In addition to the amenities that will be available to residents of all ages, the active adult village will feature a heated lap pool, pickleball and bocce ball courts, and The Farmhouse—a complex including a fitness center, art studio and social gathering areas—according to the release. A lifestyle director will also be coordinating activities.

“When it comes to amenities, our goal is to bring the same level of quality to Rockrose Ranch that you’ll find in popular master-planned communities across town,” said Rick Andreen, CEO of Inspire Communities, which is developing RockRose Ranch.


According to its website, Inspire Communities claims to provide affordable, modern manufactured homes for families.

RockRose Ranch is one of several new manufactured home communities in Montgomery County, which are gaining popularity across Texas, Community Impact reported.
