Torchy’s Tacos, Tarka’s Indian Kitchen and MOD Pizza are among the restaurants confirmed for The Market at Springwoods Village, a 170,000-square-foot shopping center at the intersection of Holzwarth Road and Grand Parkway in Spring, according to leasing manager Vanessa Barfuss.
The project will be anchored by a Kroger grocery store and is expected to open in the first half of 2017.
Other stores confirmed for the site include Chick-fil-A, Zoe’s Kitchen, Cold Stone Creamery, Lovett Dental, Supercuts and Nails of America, Barfuss said.
Torchy’s, which began as a popular food truck in Austin, has over 40 locations in Texas and five in Colorado.
Tarka’s Indian Kitchen, a fast-casual eatery also based in Austin, is new to the Houston market, Barfuss said.
Seattle-based
MOD Pizza specializes in fast, made-to-order personal pizzas. It has seven locations in Houston and five under construction, Barfuss said.
Regency Centers Corporation is developing The Market at Springwoods Village alongside the 1,800-acre Springwoods Village community, ExxonMobil corporate campus and Southwestern Energy headquarters, north of Grand Parkway and west of I-45.
